The entire apartment was extremely homey and cozy. I loved the Kotatsu in the living room and the kitchen was well equipped for making a homemade meal. Even though it is a little far from the station it has everything you need in a min walk distance. It's a great apartment and I wish I stayed for longer.

The food was delicious and staff very friendly and helpful! Also really lovely little post town surrounded by stunning nature! We which we could stay longer but we were on a road trip and had to go to our next destination, would recommend to stay at least 2 nights! Thank you to the staff members and the moms from the village for the lovely food and stay!

A very spacious, two-level older house that has a feel of a Japanese home and we could picture ourselves living in it. There were only two of us, staying for 2 nights, so we didn't use the bedrooms upstairs. We spread out the futons in the sitting room downstairs. (The kitchen, shower room, and the toilet were also downstairs.) The apartment was in a centralized, excellent location, very close to the train station--it worked perfectly for us, allowing us to travel to the Dino museum and Tojinbo easily. It's also within a short walking distance to the Castle ruins and the beautiful Yokokan Garden (be sure to bring mosquito spray in the evening in June).
