We spent one night at Guesthouse Luluha and it was fantastic. At the time of our stay we had the whole apartment for the two of us and it was really big. It is on two floors with the living areas and kitchen on the ground floor and the bedrooms on the first flirt. There is also a garden that was under renovation at the time of our visit. The kitchen is well equipped with everything and we prepared our own food there. You can also choose between regular beds or futons and we opted for the former. If you came by car there is also a private garage which was definitely an additional plus. The host lives close by and the communication with them was great. When we arrived he was very welcoming and he showed us around. Really a great experience for us here and super recommended!

We which we could stay longer but we were on a road trip and had to go to our next destination, would recommend to stay at least 2 nights! Towels and bed linen are provided in the aparthotel. A very spacious, two-level older house that has a feel of a Japanese home and we could picture ourselves living in it. There were only two of us, staying for 2 nights, so we didn't use the bedrooms upstairs. We spread out the futons in the sitting room downstairs. (The kitchen, shower room, and the toilet were also downstairs.) The apartment was in a centralized, excellent location, very close to the train station--it worked perfectly for us, allowing us to travel to the Dino museum and Tojinbo easily. It's also within a short walking distance to the Castle ruins and the beautiful Yokokan Garden (be sure to bring mosquito spray in the evening in June).
