Whatever we needed, whichever wish we had, the fulfilled it even before we could say it out loud. They invited us for dinner and helped us widening our horizons and discuss about life in all its facets and entanglements. If we are in Guatemala again, our first destination is the Casa Aleman! The two of them know more about Tikal and Guatemala than any guide could have told us. Do me favor and visit casa aleman :) Thank you for everything, you made us feel like we are a part of your family.

The room and bathroom are clean and generously sized. The owners are incredibly warm and hospitable - they even went the extra mile to boil some water for us in their own kitchen when we needed it. The room is equipped with air conditioning, a toaster, and a coffee maker with a filter. It has its own separate entrance, which allowed us to come and go freely. We highly recommend this accommodation. Right across the street, there is a volunteer house that is spearheading some really exciting community development projects with the El Remate locals, especially the children.
