We had to check into 6 hotels on this trip and this is really the best! Love the location, the cabin was very well laid out, equipped with everything you need! We were suitably impressed by all the finer details like the coffee machine, even facial tissues in the bathroom drawer. The bed was comfortable and warm. Slept like a baby. The kitchen was small but well equipped. Well appointed cabins, love the view. Just love it. My hubby and I were completely satisfied.

As for the apartment, it was more than I expected! There was a rack to dry our clothes (we had to do a bit of hand laundry at that point). Also, they welcomed us with a home made loaf of bread and jam. The apartment was sparkling clean and the bed very comfy! All the reservation, instructions to get in the apartment, etc were easy and detailed.

Fantastic hosts, large modern accommodation surrounded by sheep and water. We were so glad our original place in Portree cancelled in us and we were offered this place. Even the treats where brilliant. Close to Dumvegan castle and the fabulous head.

We stayed in the two-bed room bed and breakfast, and it was superb. Sara is a fantastic cook, the home is beautifully decorated, and the location is really great. We were able to see so much and still be 'home' to relax before bed. Achalochan House has been the best stay on our 21 day journey.
