The house was fantastic equipted, everything brandnew and thoughtfully furnished. Angus had thought of everything that we would need. And the possibility to wash and dry our clothes was perfect. Not to forget the parking next to the house, something you miss dearly in Scotland everywhere else.

A recently renovated apartment located in Portree, The Walk-up features a garden. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 38 km from Dunvegan Castle. Everything about this accomodation was fantastic. The hosts were thoughtful and really lovely. The location was great. Could walk into the town and only took 15? Minutes. Regardless was a great walk and let us save on having to park in the busy Portree.

Sara and Simon gave such a warm welcome to their beautiful home. We stayed in the two-bed room bed and breakfast, and it was superb. Sara is a fantastic cook, the home is beautifully decorated, and the location is really great. We were able to see so much and still be 'home' to relax before bed. Achalochan House has been the best stay on our 21 day journey.
