It is strategically located, less than 5 minutes away from the town centre, and has an undisturbed view of the ocean. The apartment is very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We will definitely going back to stay there.

Towels and bed linen are featured in the apartment. The property has an outdoor dining area. Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at The Cottage. This is a beautifully presented quirky one bedroom cottage, perfect for the two of us. Upon arrival The Cottage was immaculate & is very well supplied with everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is instant hot water even when heating isn't on, shower has great water pressure too. There is a small private patio area off the kitchen which we didn't use during our stay but in height of summer will be a lovely place to sit. The cottage is alongside the electric railway embankment & viaduct; we believe the cottage was there long before the railway (very slight noise as the train passes, but not intrusive at all). Approx a 10 mins walk to Laxey Beach which when we were there the sun was shining & the bay was a busy & happy place. We used (for the first time) public transport into Douglas, buses were every half hour up until 10pm, then hourly (good app available to check times etc). Short walk up some slightly steep hills onto the main road where there's local shops, pubs the electric railway & where you pick up public transport. Highly recommend & would definitely look at staying here again next time we're on the island.

The host, Fiona and family is very helpful and nice. 2. The cottage is very spacious place both inside the cottage and outside, as it's a campsite. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked breakfast and dinner daily at cottage. 3. Very convenient location, few minutes drive to Douglas and the new Tesco.

The aparthotel offers quiet street views, a picnic area, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.

Property has all the comfort of a modern apartment, it is very spacious & on my arrival spotlessly clean. The bathroom is very well planned & the shower was easy to operate & the temperature was perfect. Bedroom very spacious & the added touch of a couple of hot water bottles was very charming, heating was more than sufficient. Location to both the local CoOp was less than a 5 min walk, bus stops only a few minutes more. Laxey wheels are only 10 minutes walk away & the harbour less than a 15 minute stroll. It is worth checking out the Manx wool mill only a short stroll from the apartment,managed to pick up some great scarves,gloves & the best pair of tweed slippers that I have ever had in my life. There is a lovely walk to visit King Orrys grave which will stretch the legs after a good breakfast. Laxey had alot to offer the seasoned walker & there are some lovely undisturbed opportunities along the old mine route, near the road bridge is a hotel & a great place to start a walk towards Ballasalla.
