There is a Hotel close by which serves meals, a fish and chip shop and a great Cafe which serves breakfast, morning teas, lunch and afternoon teas. There is a Spar shop opposite the accommodation and an excellent bakery next door. There are bus stops within a 1 minute walk. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Set in Macduff and only 36 km from Huntly Castle, Braeview Studio offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This recently renovated apartment is located 16 km from Delgatie Castle and 30 km from Fyvie Castle. The property is non-smoking and is situated 45 km from Haddo House. The stand alone studio was both spacious and cozy. We had a small kitchenette, which was very useful. The location was perfect, as we explored both MacDuff, Banff and the must visit nearby historic fishing villages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here,

We stayed in the Deeside Snug over the beauty shop, and were very impressed. What an inviting and comfortable place to come back to each day that we were there. Apartment is very clean, bed was comfortable, and we really appreciated having a nice kitchen with a clothes washer. The best perk was the beauty shop below. I was able to get a much need haircut from Pauline, who made my hair look fabulous! We would definitely come back to this little gem!

Despite some cold and wet weather this visit, the flat was really warm and cosy and we all very much enjoyed the real log fire - especially the dog. The flat is a five minute walk from the beach, and only a stones throw from some great eating establishments (Rockpool cafe, Linda's chippy, Spice House, The Ice Cream Shop) so we did very little cooking, which made it all the more relaxing. Already planning a return visit.
