Apple Tree Lodges ligger i Colchester, 24 km från Hedingham Castle, och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med gratis WiFi samt tillgång till en terrass. We loved the quiet location of the lodges but with the option of going to the main hotel to use the spa facilities, restaurant, bat and Pippins, the shop. The lodge was spacious, yet cosy and warm, well laid out and with a fabulous view!

The Glen Guest House 1-bedroom guest house with free parking ligger i Fyfield, 22 km från Stansted Mountfitchet station, 23 km från Hylands Park och 29 km från Woodford. Stayed for 2 nights 21 to 23 September What's there not to like? My stay was exceptional. The place itself has a cottage like vibe. It has everything you need and the decor, features etc is very high spec. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave etc. A TV with "proper" channels including netflix, very comfortable indeed. Lesley is on hand to answer and help with any questions or queries about the area and things to do. Plus they also offer a very reasonable, very flexible taxi service. Tiptop!!! The cottage is warm and cosy. It is set back in an area surrounded by beautiful green land and in a garden with lovely garden furniture and ample seating areas. It really has the best backdrop. There is also a fully equipped gym which I had the opportunity to use, very considerate to open it up for guests. The hosts have thought about everything you may need for a comfortable getaway. They were brilliant hosts, Lesley and Pat, their welcome was more like going to stay with friends for the weekend! The nicest people you would ever want to meet, hands on, making sure you're comfortable, super pleasant, engaging and just really really nice folks. I highly recommend the Glen Adorable... the name says it all!

Modern Luxury 1 bed apartment with parking near Stansted Airport ligger i Stansted Mountfitchet, 15 km från Audley End House, 35 km från Freeport Braintree och 37 km från Chelmsford tågtation. I loved several aspects of the property. The overall ambiance was inviting and well-maintained, with simple and clean decor and thoughtful attention to detail. The location was ideal, offering 13 minutes to Stansted airport.

The Cartlodge ligger i Wickham Bishops, 18 km från Chelmsford tågtation, 30 km från Hylands Park och 30 km från Hedingham Castle. The hosts had thought of everything, providing a lovely welcome box, toiletries, fridge, microwave and simple, unfussy instructions on how to get the best out of your stay.

Stansted Coach House ligger i Elsenham, 2,9 km från Stansted Mountfitchet station, 14 km från Audley End House och 31 km från Freeport Braintree. Such a cute little place to stay if you have an early morning flight at Stansted! The place was spotless and even had some snacks/drinks you could buy. Just make sure you book a taxi to the airport in advance as Uber is not available out there and a lot of taxis were booked up.

Greyfriars ligger i Clacton-on-Sea och erbjuder boende med utsikt över trädgården, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 2 minuters promenad från Clacton Beach. We loved the location being so close to the ocean front. The breezes from the top floor were wonderful. We slept very well on the beds and everything of basic necessity was provided for a comfortable stay. We had a small ocean view from the living room but a grand one just outside the door within less than a minute walk. Mark was great with accommodating arr last minute needs. I highly recommend this place for a quick or long stay.

Frinton Escapes ligger 2,2 km från Walton-on-the-Naze Beach i Frinton-on-Sea och erbjuder boende med luftkonditionering och gratis WiFi. I had a fantastic, comfortable and enjoyable stay in Frinton. It had everything I needed and most importantly to me the upstairs unit I stayed was spotlessly clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable.
