We loved the quiet location of the lodges but with the option of going to the main hotel to use the spa facilities, restaurant, bat and Pippins, the shop. The lodge was spacious, yet cosy and warm, well laid out and with a fabulous view!

Stayed for 2 nights 21 to 23 September What's there not to like? My stay was exceptional. The place itself has a cottage like vibe. It has everything you need and the decor, features etc is very high spec. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave etc. A TV with "proper" channels including netflix, very comfortable indeed. Lesley is on hand to answer and help with any questions or queries about the area and things to do. Plus they also offer a very reasonable, very flexible taxi service. Tiptop!!! The cottage is warm and cosy. It is set back in an area surrounded by beautiful green land and in a garden with lovely garden furniture and ample seating areas. It really has the best backdrop. There is also a fully equipped gym which I had the opportunity to use, very considerate to open it up for guests. The hosts have thought about everything you may need for a comfortable getaway. They were brilliant hosts, Lesley and Pat, their welcome was more like going to stay with friends for the weekend! The nicest people you would ever want to meet, hands on, making sure you're comfortable, super pleasant, engaging and just really really nice folks. I highly recommend the Glen Adorable... the name says it all!

Modern Luxury 1 bed apartment with parking near Stansted Airport ligger i Stansted Mountfitchet, 14 km från Audley End House, 35 km från Freeport Braintree och 37 km från Chelmsford tågtation. Very nice that an assortment of breakfast food was provided. Also provided toiletries that are difficult to travel with due to security restrictions. Great communication with the host. Lots of good information posted in apartment for local food and taxis and WIFI informationm

The hosts had thought of everything, providing a lovely welcome box, toiletries, fridge, microwave and simple, unfussy instructions on how to get the best out of your stay.

The location was PERFECT! Close to the main street and the beach. The room was also PERFECT and we loved it... size, comfort, amenities... lovely!

Upon opening the door we were amazed at the size of the accommodation; so much room to unpack and relax and enjoy the quiet space. We felt really at home there and enjoyed returning at the end of each day! We walked up to the top of the outside space and looked across the views of Essex - gorgeous! We'd have no hesitation in booking Meadow Barns again and would recommend it to family and friends. Faultless!
