Stayed for 2 nights 21 to 23 September What's there not to like? My stay was exceptional. The place itself has a cottage like vibe. It has everything you need and the decor, features etc is very high spec. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave etc. A TV with "proper" channels including netflix, very comfortable indeed. Lesley is on hand to answer and help with any questions or queries about the area and things to do. Plus they also offer a very reasonable, very flexible taxi service. Tiptop!!! The cottage is warm and cosy. It is set back in an area surrounded by beautiful green land and in a garden with lovely garden furniture and ample seating areas. It really has the best backdrop. There is also a fully equipped gym which I had the opportunity to use, very considerate to open it up for guests. The hosts have thought about everything you may need for a comfortable getaway. They were brilliant hosts, Lesley and Pat, their welcome was more like going to stay with friends for the weekend! The nicest people you would ever want to meet, hands on, making sure you're comfortable, super pleasant, engaging and just really really nice folks. I highly recommend the Glen Adorable... the name says it all!

Very nice that an assortment of breakfast food was provided. Also provided toiletries that are difficult to travel with due to security restrictions. Great communication with the host. Modern and clean apartment, with all amenities. The staff were exceptional and went over the top in services, especially Anne.

Mayland Motel provides contactless, self-contained accommodation in Mayland, near to Maldon and Burnham on Crouch. Chelmsford is 27 km from the property whilst Southend is 40 km away. No breakfast just an overnight stay very accommodating a little weird getting the code through booking.com and not the owner email, that does not make a lot of sense to me but it worked

Offering garden views, Stansted Coach House is an accommodation located in Elsenham, 14 km from Audley End House and 31 km from Freeport Braintree. Such a cute little place to stay if you have an early morning flight at Stansted! The place was spotless and even had some snacks/drinks you could buy. Just make sure you book a taxi to the airport in advance as Uber is not available out there and a lot of taxis were booked up.

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Greyfriars is an apartment situated in a historic building in Clacton-on-Sea, 200 metres from Clacton Beach. We loved the location being so close to the ocean front. The breezes from the top floor were wonderful. We slept very well on the beds and everything of basic necessity was provided for a comfortable stay. We had a small ocean view from the living room but a grand one just outside the door within less than a minute walk. Mark was great with accommodating arr last minute needs. I highly recommend this place for a quick or long stay.

The lock box worked very well. I was unsure that I was at the correct front door: a sign near the door with the cottage name would have been helpful.
