Comprising of converted farm buildings and new purpose-built apartments, Plawsworth Hall is located in Chester-le-Street, not far from Lumley Castle. WiFi is provided throughout the properties. Quiet, comfortable, large, well equipped apartment. Beautiful views of the countryside. Easy to get to Durham and surrounding areas. One of the best showers we've ever had. Great value for money. Highly recommend this lovely place.

The beds were amazingly comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. Loads of tea, coffee and sugar provided and a well stocked kitchen. ( we did have to hunt out the secret cutlery drawer, although that could have been us being daft!) There was every take away you could wish for in the villiage, plus an Italian restaurant. If we found ourselves visisting that area again, we would definitely stay there again. Although not a real criticism, it would have been great to know that you need to call the owners on arrival for a key code... Nonetheless 10/10 from us!!!!
