Our stay in Bentub home was one of our favourite things from santo antao island! The owner is very nice and welcoming, the dinners in the house are excellent and the food is adapted for all types of guests (we are all vegan). The location is ideal and every morning we took the colectivos to reach the different treks. We loved it so much we stayed for one day more than planned. Definitely the most comfortable and delicious stay we had in Cape verde!!! Fully fully recommended!!!!

You will certainly not be disappointed if you stay here. Seriously, do it. From the hosts to the decor to the atmosphere to the facilities and the rooftop kitchen and breakfast area it's amazing. The hosts are lovely, and located just across the road from the guest house in case you need assistance with anything. A 2 minute walk from the main high street where you have all the shops and cafes and restaurants.

Vannimar Lounge is a self-catering accommodation located in Porto Novo. Accommodation will provide you with a balcony. There is a kitchen with an oven and a refrigerator. Big apartment, where we had enough space for all our stuff. It was clean and the host was also very nice and picked us up from the ferry. It is just 5 minutes walking distance to the ferry and the restaurants.

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Ribeira Grande, LA MENOR is an apartment surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features a garden, bar and parking on-site among other facilities. Great facilities! I had the apartment with terrace - it’s on the top floor with an awesome view of the city. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the nice weather, and there’s a full kitchen you can use as well. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged and were always delicious. Antonio also helped with arranging an aluguer for me to go to Porto Novo in the early morning. This place is a nice base for treks in the region - you can easily take an aluguer or taxi to begin treks in the area. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer!

A recently renovated apartment, Casa Au Bonheur des Randonneurs offers accommodation in Ponta do Sol. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free WiFi. The appt is really huge - 3 bedrooms, spacious dining room, kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the tableware and cookware. However, the shops in Ponta do Sol are really tiny, so if you're travelling by car I'd suggest to do your grocery shopping in bigger villages (e.g. we've found a relatively big shop in Ribeira Grande) or even before departing Mindelo, especially if you want to purchase alcohol. Anyway, if you don't want to cook yourself, there are several cafes/restaurants nearby, but I suggest to book the place for dinner in advance, as the best places are fully booked. Good wi-fi, plenty of parking place on the street nearby, key is left in the locker box, so you don't have to worry about time of arrival. The host is very sweet and helpful - she has sent all the precise instructions on whatsapp in advance and it was very easy to contact her anytime.
