The property was in a beautiful quiet area immersed in the jungle life around it. The property was extremely clean and well looked after. The staff were the loveliest and most helpful people especially the owners. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay feel special but also personal. Breakfast was served on your doorstep at a time of your choosing and was always up to a high standard. The bungalow itself was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It was modern without being sterile and is great value for money, along with a lovely outdoor pool at your doorstep.

I was welcomed by the friendly daughter Anelka of the owner . 2 rooms and one living room kitchen. All very clean and modern. In each room one double and one single bed very comfortable, air condition, ventilator. The bathroom is large. Hot shower. Toiletries. Large modern kitchen well equipped with induction hob, microwave, coffee filter machine and a lot of plates, glasses . One sofa in the living room. TV. Strong Wifi . They answer quickly to WhatsApp messages. The owner leaves next door. They largely deserve 10.

From the communication to the attention, Carlos ensured our first time to Tortuguero was a great experience. He had a river boat agent, Christian, be on the lookout for us at La Pavona to start the journey. Carlos met us at the Tortuguero dock, helped us to the apartment, and welcomed us with his empanadas. Carlos introduced us to an excellent guide, a born local and educated naturalist, Boa, who provided a fantastic canoe tour and park tour that were insightful, educational, and personal. Boa also speaks excellent English and is fluent in Spanish, French, and Japanese. We were also lucky to see 3 giant green turtles nesting on the beach with a night guide. Carlos and his wife lived right next door and provided daily attention above expectations. The apartment had great AC and all of our basic needs were met. A family friendly area that felt very safe. It was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, I've stayed there before and will stay there again, I've stayed in several other properties close by but this is by far the best, outstanding.

The cabin is beautiful and equipped with everything you need for a long or short term stay. You can rent scooters or bikes from a nearby shop to get around to the beach and restaurants which are roughly 8-10 minutes away or just a few minutes by car. The garden outside the cabin and all the surrounding property is full of wildlife so If you are looking for a clean and comfortable stay in nature, this cabin is definitely the place. To top all that off, the host, Tree, is absolutely one of the best host I have come across. I feel like she went above and beyond to make my stay amazing!

Fabian, who works for the hosts, took us on a wonderful canoe trip along the river and channels and pointed out loads of wildlife. he's very knowledgeable and also so friendly. he also took us on a walk through the reserve, which was really interesting and pointed out so much wildlife, he's so enthusiastic, it was a joy to accompany him. you can arrange tours with him through the accommodation.
