The property manager (Leonardo) and the staff care for the guests as people. In my case, a thunderstorm brewed over the night and I was planning to drive to our next location. Leonardo and another staff member looked up some local news to make sure we knew what the safest route was. In regard to the room, they have 2 AC units and loads of space for either couples or small families. The community is secure and feels very cozy. Breakfast is delicious. HIGHLY HIGHLY regard others to stay here.

He is so eager to show you around the property, which is right next to a beautiful river! In the morning we saw howler monkeys in the trees, and Emmanuel showed us a very pretty rainbow-coloured frog in a pond in the property. It was nice to be so close to nature, but we didn't get many mosquito bites in our room. This place was perfect for us!

Boasting garden views, Nirvana Apartament Hostal provides accommodation with patio, around 34 km from Poas National Park. Property was really well priced and a pleasant place to be. Host was friendly on arrival and happy to recommend places to head out for food. Also a fridge where you can buy some small snacks and drinks from whilst you’re there which is a nice touch. Ideal for staying prior to an early flight, would happily stay again.

Set in Alajuela City, 31 km from Poas National Park and 2.6 km from Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium, Apartment 10 minutes by the SJO airport - offers air conditioning. Authentic breakfast. So awesome that it delivered right to us without us needing to go out.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Bungalow Batsù is a recently renovated apartment set in Fortuna, 17 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. The location was amazing. Very comfortable for our small family. The property was beautiful and the hosts were so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious.

Located in Fortuna, the recently renovated Apartamentos M&M provides accommodation 5.1 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 5.4 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. Everything, it Was clean quiet location well equipped for cooking. The pictures don’t do enough justice! 10 out 10

Offering a garden and garden view, El Buda is set in Poás, 13 km from Poas National Park and 13 km from Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium. Great friendly environment, great communication with hosts (they provided perfect instructions for our arrival, key pick up etc), very clean and comfortable. Great location from the airport. Highly recommend it! Note: the hosts were extremely polite and offered us bananas from their garden when we checked out!
