After arriving Taiwan for a long-awaited holiday, I realised our family home is not fit for that many occupants. Which led me to book and stay in the city centre of Taichung. The location of Good Garden was absolutely perfect. Accessible to a wide variety of facilities including train station, shopping, night market, restaurants, etc. For a temporary visitor who rely on walking or public transport, this place is IT!
There was just one minor issue - I booked the basic economy room. On arrival, I was informed that they've upgraded me to the next level (?business) suite as the economy rooms were booked out. The business suite comes with a coffee table and a foot stool kind of seating. I needed a proper desk and chair as I need to get on my laptop daily. I managed to make things work somehow during my stay... While I appreciated the upgrade, it would have been perfect if the upgraded room also came with a writing desk and chair.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home.
