The property is spacious and has plenty of windows facing down to two different streets and a back patio. we enjoyed the peacefulness and choice of bedrooms. The fireplace was a nice touch for a cozy evening. The hosts Maria and Chico were always helpful and friendly and made custom pizza that were delicious.

A beautiful step back in time! A welcoming and helpful team. We loved the view from our third floor room and enjoyed the evening sights and sounds on the terrace. Private parking, WiFi, and a lift (tick, tick & tick). The continental breakfast was generous and delicious.
Some have said the hotel is dated. I think it fits with the town, letting you feel transported back in time. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect!
We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Pelourinho. The owner is very kind and attentive lady, and the apartment is fantastic. We came later at night, and we had some food waiting for us, and fire at the fireplace, what a thoughtful and generous act! Everything was clean and comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay!
