The unit was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and contained everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
The hosts were welcoming and generously gave us some of their fresh produce from the lovely garden, which we could access from the back door. Great communication and very centrally located. Wish we could have e stayed longer!

We loved this cottage. The bed was comfortable, everything was very clean, it was great to have a washing machine, you can park right next to the ramp and the location was perfect. I don’t think we could have found a closer place to the blue penguin colony. We only stayed for 1 night but definitely could’ve stayed here longer.

Having a house to ourselves, calm and clean where everything was functional PLUS a Nespresso machine with pods !!! Host very pro.Pity things close early. Place was safe for our motorcycles to park in front. House is off the street.

Good value for money, room was comfortable and clean. Wee playground for kids and big bouncy pad that staff were happy to inflate for us. Was a spa there too but we didn't have time to use it.
The host was extremely helpful and solution-oriented. I had a couple of requests that I was expecting a ‘computer says no’ reply but she came back with solutions that worked wonderfully both times. The apartment itself is stunning, comfortable and clean. We will stay again for sure.

Although the unit are retro, they were built in the day when fittings were made in NZ (not offshore) and are of a very high quality.
Hence they have lasted the years and everything worked well e.g. taps, shower, light switched and electricial outlets.
Better than many more modern holiday apartments.
