This place is an absolute gem! It exceeded all my expectations ♡ If you like nature and animals you have to book this villa. The garden leads to a private lagoon that provides you with authentic wild life from Sri Lanka. We fed monkeys and chipmunks, saw bats, peacocks and fireflies right there in our backyard. We travel a lot, but I'm confident to say that Sanjeewa was the best host we ever had. He made us smoothies and coffee, gave good recommendations and even invited us for a drink with his friends. When the neighbours were playing music at night, he immediately advocated for us and made sure it wouldn't happen again. He saw to our every need and his english is excellent. He even offered to drive us to the train station. The rooms of the house are spacious. There are two rooms and a bathroom on each floor. The rooms upstairs each have a balcony. The shared kitchen has all necessary utensils. If you're lucky, you could have the whole house to yourself. I'm usually rather critical in reviews, but everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable even for my back problems. Sanjeewa came every morning to clean the floors and the kitchen. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk away, as well as a lot of restaurants and little supermarkets. Hence the location is really excellent. I think the price was fair. I would prefer this place to any fancy hotel. Will definitely stay here a second time, should I ever visit Sri Lanka again.

Apartment was newly built above lovely family hosts, breakfast was good and filling. Washing matching was bonus. Lovely towels, bedding. could cook as had everything you needed. We stayed longer. Hired scooters and hosts even brought in at night. Felt well looked after. Thank you. lovely kind family.

Gorgeous place - ultra spacious and not one but two comfortably equipped terraces, one of which looked straight out to sea which was a real wow and where we spent all of our time. Super guy who looked after us during our stay who also worked at a local restaurant, Fine Dining, which was our favourite. He was so attentive as were all the lovely security staff. Gorgeous pool and garden. We'll be back.

Super hospitable hosts, providing a wonderful breakfast every morning and helping with bus information. They also provided umbrellas for the rain which were a great help.
Very nice to have a pool as the currents are very strong in the area so swimming in the sea is not ideal.

This place is a hidden gem, filled with wildlife and very tranquil scenery. It was absolutely serene and refreshed my soul in just one day! The pool has the most magnificent view and we also spotted a canoe for the lake if you have a bit more time on your hands.
Dinner at the property was excellent, one of the best curries we'd had on our whole trip and the staff were ready to accomodate any request for drinks or other food.

The grounds are beautiful some areas still under construction. Staff are very accommodating and went out of their way to help us we requested a fridge and flat screen tv and they provided them. It poured with rain when we arrived and they met us with umbrellas.
Fantastic location near the beach - comfortable and clean apartment. There were a few restaurants around and nice lagoon also. Kitchen was also fantastically equipped for those who like cooking!
The room was clean and well-equipped. The host was lovely and breakfast as well as dinner were really delicious! We left our car at her ground for the night and she organized a rental kayak for us (kayaking in the lagoon for sunrise is a great experience!).

The apparent was very modern and immaculately clean. It is a large apartment probably about 100m^2.
It has lovely marble floors and benches. The curtains are also very nice.
For 1700 LKR the family prepared a huge breakfast with traditional Sri Lankan food and a fruit platter. It was excellent.
The views in all four directions are great. I saw a male peacock out my window nearly every morning.
We had the separate apartment with small kitchen with both A/C and ceiling fan. Great breakfast, every day different. By walk it is 7-8 minutes to the Silent beach. Really friendly and nice hosts. Fast laundry service. Recommended !
We had apartment without private pool but the accommodation was still very good.
