This place is an absolute gem! It exceeded all my expectations ♡ If you like nature and animals you have to book this villa. The garden leads to a private lagoon that provides you with authentic wild life from Sri Lanka. We fed monkeys and chipmunks, saw bats, peacocks and fireflies right there in our backyard. We travel a lot, but I'm confident to say that Sanjeewa was the best host we ever had. He made us smoothies and coffee, gave good recommendations and even invited us for a drink with his friends. When the neighbours were playing music at night, he immediately advocated for us and made sure it wouldn't happen again. He saw to our every need and his english is excellent. He even offered to drive us to the train station. The rooms of the house are spacious. There are two rooms and a bathroom on each floor. The rooms upstairs each have a balcony. The shared kitchen has all necessary utensils. If you're lucky, you could have the whole house to yourself. I'm usually rather critical in reviews, but everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable even for my back problems. Sanjeewa came every morning to clean the floors and the kitchen. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk away, as well as a lot of restaurants and little supermarkets. Hence the location is really excellent. I think the price was fair. I would prefer this place to any fancy hotel. Will definitely stay here a second time, should I ever visit Sri Lanka again.

This place is cozy as it is lost in trees away from roads and street noises. Most noises are made by birds and monkeys. Here you can enjoy relaxed atmosphere and authentic neighbourhood with relaxed and friendly neighbours. We were staying with baby and the dog here so it’s a best place to dive into local style living, safe and relaxed. If you search for a place to stay as locals are living among fruit trees and giant squirrels and mongooses consider this homestay. Spacious yard is a bonus, a roofed shed is a place for smoke and eat in the rain. Helpful owners will help to resolve all your problems and answer all your questions. Have a nice stay here! Quiet and lazy place for those who don’t like hotels and want to live like locals! We were staying here for the second time. Best wishes!

An unforgettable place. We stayed in 7 hotels during our Sri Lanka trip, from simple B&Bs to 5-star resorts, and Khomba Lodge was the only one we’ll remember for a long time.
It’s a villa with only 3 apartments, there will be a maximum of 8 guests except of you in the whole building. The middle floor apartment is simply stunning - very comfortable, equipped with more stuff than you’ll ever need, furnished with exceptional taste. On one side, your balcony overlooks a private garden pool with a sea view, while on the other, there’s an incredibly spacious private terrace filled with tropical plants. The villa also offers direct access to the beach, and bars and restaurants are just beyond the fence.
We also experienced the best in Sri Lanka hospitality and care from the staff. The guards at the entrance are incredibly friendly, Rehan is always ready to assist with any local needs, and the amazing Gayan will take care of all your travel arrangements. With Gayan and his comfortable van we even traveled to Ella after our stay - it was the best travel & guide tour we had on the island. Lisa, who manages the place, provides super easy & direct communication.
Our only regret is that our stay was too short. Highly recommended to everyone - we will definitely return some day! Thank you!

The villa is on the hill, 5 minutes walk from the beach but far enough away to have peace and relaxation, and has everything you need in Hiri. Indika is a wonderful woman, she will make your stay in Lohas as pleasant as possible and she cooks amazing! We had a mishap on the last night and both she and her husband made sure everything was okay. If I come back to Hiriketiya, I will definitely stay with her.

The grounds are beautiful some areas still under construction. Staff are very accommodating and went out of their way to help us we requested a fridge and flat screen tv and they provided them. It poured with rain when we arrived and they met us with umbrellas.
Fantastic location near the beach - comfortable and clean apartment. There were a few restaurants around and nice lagoon also. Kitchen was also fantastically equipped for those who like cooking!
The room was clean and well-equipped. The host was lovely and breakfast as well as dinner were really delicious! We left our car at her ground for the night and she organized a rental kayak for us (kayaking in the lagoon for sunrise is a great experience!).

The apparent was very modern and immaculately clean. It is a large apartment probably about 100m^2.
It has lovely marble floors and benches. The curtains are also very nice.
For 1700 LKR the family prepared a huge breakfast with traditional Sri Lankan food and a fruit platter. It was excellent.
The views in all four directions are great. I saw a male peacock out my window nearly every morning.
We had the separate apartment with small kitchen with both A/C and ceiling fan. Great breakfast, every day different. By walk it is 7-8 minutes to the Silent beach. Really friendly and nice hosts. Fast laundry service. Recommended !
We had apartment without private pool but the accommodation was still very good.
Room was spacious, clean and with AC and mosquito net over bed.
We used pool by the lobby and restaurant that was clean and big with spaces to comfortably sit.
