We were looking for a quiet stay with local flair, and this was the perfect choice. Indika and his family were incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts. He arranged a scooter, a whale-watching tour, and transport to Tangalle for us, all at very fair prices—much better than those in town.
The room was spacious, with a super comfortable bed and a large mosquito net, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. The cozy terrace, surrounded by banana and palm trees, was a wonderful spot to relax in the evening. The water pressure was good, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly.
The location is slightly off the main road but convenient, with several food spots nearby. Cargills supermarket is a 5-minute drive, Secret Beach is 15 minutes, and Mirissa Beach is just 5 minutes by scooter—or you can walk to many main spots.
You can also enjoy breakfast and dinner cooked by the family, and the prices are very reasonable. Indika’s wife is an amazing cook—her curries were fantastic, and the breakfasts were both delicious and generous (her coconut-filled crepes are a must-try!). Highly recommended!

The Lady is super nice and humble. They did get us scooter for rent also at reasonable price. It's little bit inside but with scooter it's close to both Mirissa and Weligama! It's entirely private rooms and shared kitchen between just two rooms! No photo scam, they provide what they show. Kitchen was enough big and enough equipped! They have cute cats which will come and play with you!

The host and his family are very warm and you immediately feel comfortable and welcomed. The host has many good contacts with, for example, surf schools, whale watching tours and scooter rental companies. The guest house also offers a laundry service, very practical! His wife prepared dinner for us once, it was heavenly! I would be happy to come back on my next trip to Sri Lanka. :)

Quiet location, but not too far from the beach, restaurants and supermarket.
Breakfast can be ordered additionally, but regretfully we didn’t try.
Comfortable parking area (we were traveling around Sri Lanka by car, and it was very important).
We would only recommend to add some extra bath towels for long-stay guests :) Other than that - it was a great stay and we were sad to leave!
The staff were so lovely. Nothing was too much for them from making smoothies because I didn’t like whole fruit and making me a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast to letting me get changed in a room after being caught in a storm despite having already checked out. The aircon room was lush after being out in the heat all day and the view was beautiful. The rooms are basic but the bed was very comfortable and clean.

This is a beautiful property for a good price where you get your own apartment with kitchenette, big comfy bed and lovely bathroom. The pool area is a lovely place to relax and the hosts are all very friendly and happy to help however they can. I just wish we had stayed for longer! It is located well for mirissa and they run a tuk tuk service that will take you into town rather than a 15 minute walk.

They also help with cab bookings at genuine prices, not the inflated tourist prices.

They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed and provided great recommendations for local attractions and dining spots. The location was also perfect, just a short walk from the beach. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Mirissa.
We’ve booked the penthouse suite towards the garden. The apartment was quiet, clean&well equipped (incl. washing machine). Mirissa beach, harbour, city center, restaurants and shops are in walking distance. Friendly staff, who supports e.g. for TukTuk services. Delicious breakfast. We liked it!
Location is amazing! We are very thankful to super friendly Mimoza team! Our penthouse apartment had balcony with a real jungle touch… all birds and squirrels and peacocks and fruit bats in a tree a bit further away…
