This is an idyllic little retreat tucked away from the main thoroughfare. A lovely cabin which feels like it's immersed in the jungle, with views through the trees of the surrounding countryside and the sounds of the birds. The host is very friendly and provides a delicious breakfast and knowledge of the area. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Everything was the absolute best we've experienced in all of sri lanka !! We've been all over and it was the best we could have ever dreamed of! Highly recommend to all ! Waterfall view , beautiful terraced farming , amazing hosts who cook delicious breakfast with such love everyday! Treat yourself and truly experience serenity at serenity cottage . Coming from someone for their first time in sri lanka , will definitely be coming back here every time we come !

First of all this not a 4 star hotel this 3 bed room apartment, i booked through booking.com after i arrive hotel they told me to cancel the booking from booking.com and they said they will give for less cost due to some issues then i cancel booking and really it was bad experience and no proper location to the hotel and we left the hotel next day early morning.
We had a wonderful stay here, the staff were incredibly friendly and happy to help - letting us check in early and leave our bags in a safe place so we could continue exploring. It's located right on the 12th stage of the Pekoe Trail, so we did that and explored some other trails locally too.
The breakfast was tasty too, with stunning views!
Friendly family who welcomed us with a tea as soon as we arrived. Great views from our balcony and an ideal location. The hosts were super helpful in helping us plan our time in Haputale and provided scooter rental and great advice. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed having breakfast with such wonderful views. A great stay with very good value for the money we paid.
It’s a great accommodation! Our room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a room in the second floor where we had a great view from our window. The breakfast in the morning was very good and filling. The owner was super friendly and welcoming. We had a nice time staying there.
The only weird thing was that the bathroom wall was open at the top to the ceiling and the bathroom was facing the staircase hall so everyone can hear everything which felt a little intimidating. But it’s not a big issue for a short stay.

The apartment is close to the train station and bus stop. View is absolutely incredible. Bed was comfortable and there were extra blankets as it got cold at night.
You can take a direct bus to Diyaluma waterfall for very cheap (five minute walk from the hotel). There's also a nice tea factory and cafe you can walk to through the tea plantations in around 30m.
