This cabin is amazing. It's a place you'll want to live in. It's completely in the middle of nature. It's very well equipped. It also has a beautiful view of Sigiriya Rock even from the bed.
What was more surprising, was the care and helpfulness from the owner Peter and the caretaker Sumith.

Madhu who runs the place was amazing really relaxed and always helpful when needed. Provided beautiful meals and the view of the lake from the villa was spectacular. Really convenient location if you don’t mind a 15-20 minute walk to Sigriyas main touristy parts. Would definitely recommend.

For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. The location was ideal for the short stay and the staff were friendly. Was able to arrange day trip to Sigirya and Polonorrua, and Anadhapura. Meals and breakfast were good.
Apartment is in a beautiful garden. It's perfectly clean. Quiet. Bed is comfortable. The owners are helpful and very friendly. The wife is excellent cook, I highly recommend having dinner from her! Also the breakfast is fantastic. They can recommend really nice tuktuk driver who took us around for 2 days and even drove us to Anuradhapura. It was our best accommodation in Sri Lanka.
Anu and her family took a really good are of us - helping us with transportation, giving us tips, cooking, organizing trips.The breakfast and the first day dinner were delicious (they are really great cooks!). The apartment is well equipped and t is near the garden, where you can observe monkeys, birds. Nice place with nice people. Thanks for hosting us!
The apartment was clean and modern. Lots of cute touches like towels in the shape of a swan in the room. The hosts were really friendly and accommodating. And the homemade breakfast was incredible. He also drove us to the bus stop for free.
We had a great stay at the green village in Dambulla. Our host was a true gentleman and was always at hand to help us with any request. He organised an amazing tour guide for our 4:30am Hike up Pidurangala rock and helped us get our Laundry cleaned. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and full of variety. I would highly recommend the green village for a short stay in Dambulla.
Eden grand boasts huge rooms, friendly family run business, great breakfast. A new hotel only opened in the past year and has great potential. Owner was friendly and accommodating, also provided transport to our next location. It is a little bit of a walk outside the main area in Dambulla but perfect for a short stay.
Would recommend better wifi and some lighting along the walk up to the hotel if possible but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!
We are traveling around Sri Lanka in a rental car - pretty much a road trip! City Paradise Dambulla suits us well in terms of location and budget for someone like us who just wants to clean up and clean bed to rest, then get ready on the car the next day. The kindness and efforts to help out from all the members at City Paradise Dambulla are very impressive making our first trip in Sri Lanka wonderful - thank you :)
We were the only guests and we were warmly welcomed. The place is calm and beautiful and it was really clean. There were candles and scents all around. It was a relaxing place. The breakfast was good. The host was helpful and he offered us tea during our short stay. He had a parking slot for our rental car and he even cleaned the car before we left.
Very good energy, everything clean, good towels, it’s studio apartment room and tasty nice breakfast. Hot water, ac…. Everything nice for memorable moments… like honeymoon 💜
