It typical old Japanese style homes build in the 80’s. I like the experience of keeping in a japanese style room. it s summer guesthouse and i loved it.

Good location, close to station and airport. Whilst nothing was outstanding about the apartment, everything was reasonable. The host was very communicative and helpful, including helping us find a taxi company (details were also in the manual) and helping me understand what requirements I had to provide passport details (based on our family being mixed nationality)

The owner was one of the nicest people I met in Japan, letting me borrow his bike to ride to the beach. The location and facilities are also perfect. Could not recommend more.
Beautiful guesthouse in a converted apartment building. On the ground floor is a cafe, bar and communal area. You can get food, cake and the local craft beer here. The rooms are on the 4th and 5th floor of the building, but there is an elevator. There is secure luggage storage if you want to leave it before you check in or after you check out. The staff are friendly and speak English. They also provide detailed information about what is available in the local area, including a public bath that they can give you a discount ticket for.
Great location! Less than 10min walk from the wakayama station (all flat roads, no hills). The onsen was great and you also get some random freebies (free coffee in the afternoon, free popsicles, free ramen at night, etc.). Room is not big but that's normal for Japanese hotels, we did not spend a whole lot of time inside the room so it didn't matter too much anyways. Would recommend this place.
This is a nice hotel for a short stay over. The staff is very friendly and the location is convenient next to a parking garage. The room is spacious, with very comfortable beds and a great view over the Wakayama castle.
We actually loved this place. The tatami rooms exceeded all our expectations. It was as big as an apartment with a kitchen, washing machine, and dining area. We also loved the retro style decoration as well as the cosy vibes on the first floor. The staff were also very kind. However..
Breakfast was simple - Rice with curry, a few side dishes and bread.
Would not want to eat this everyday but for a short stay it was nice to have something to eat early in the morning.
