Self check-in, so we did not meet the host, but albums found in the apartment were very helpful. Great location in Shirakawa-go (close to the city itself, as well as the viewpoint), close to the only market in the city.
An observant and kind owner who runs the guesthouse efficiently. Always present at the counter till late at night to answer to queries or render assistance. Cup noodles, biscuits, snacks are available at a very reasonable flat price of 150Y.
This place is absolutely awesome Free popsicles, free yakult, breakfast included, free ramen between 10pm and 11pm, free private onsen bath. Free yukata rental. Complementary drop-off and collection service to the bus stop in Shirakawago. Very responsive to messages. Only thing to note, pick up from bus station starts at 2pm
The apartment is very spacious and very clean. Everything is just like new. Parking is also very spacious. The owner provided instant Japanese curry rice, coffee and snack which we really appreciate. Our family of four had a very comfortable stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone.

This apartment is newly renovated. It is situted at the entrance acessing to Shirakawago, about 10 mins walk to Shirakawago (白川鄉合掌村)bus stop。The apartment is very spacious with free of charge parking space. It is clean and tidy with well equipped home facilities. The owner Naoki can be communicated by English. He is well responding with your questions promptly. Naoki is very kind and provide us with some foods and coffee while our stay. I highly recommend this apartment for those who are planning to visit 白川鄉合掌村。
The apartment owner was very nice, friendly and caring about the customer. When we came to the apartment, they prepared the kotatsu, kairo heat and the food for us. The room was big, warm and very near to the Shirakawago village and restaurant. The facilities operated well. All were amazing! And the home owners and their children were hospitable and kawaii! Highly recommend!
The room was much larger than we expected with private bathroom and toilet attached (which was a big surprise). Considering the cost of the rental, this room is definitely worth it and far exceed our expectation
