Very honored to be able to stay in a traditional Japanese home. Quiet and serenity surrounding. You can see the sunrise from the living room. Cleanliness was spotless, digital tv channels were good, kitchen was fully functional. Space was good for big family like ours of 6 pax. Bedroom were all spacious. Very generous with the refreshments. Onsen was traditional and natural.
We had a rental car, so amenities was easy and all within 10-20mins drive, including cable car station and Lake Ashi.
Our car window was not fully closed and we didn’t realized until there’s actually an estate manager that goes around in case you need something. That’s quite assuring for us.
In the Hakone Yumoto Onsen district of Hakone, close to Hakone-Yumoto Station, HAKO REIRO 箱・玲瓏 features barbecue facilities and a washing machine.

This was the best accommodation during our Japan-Trip. Everything is so beautifully designed, the hosts must be very keen on design. It‘s closed to the city center so you can easily stroll around the town. It was very clean. The Appartement has a welcoming, warmhearted atmosphere and is stylish at the same time. I wish the host my very best for the future! If we will return for a Japan-Trip Hakone and HAKO REIRO are on our bucket list. Thank you especially for the games, we appreciated them very much.

We love how spacious and clean the house was. Walkable distance to bus stop and station.
It’s like our home away from home, we didn’t stay long enough to use all the amenities but everything is there to make our stay comfortable. We could see the host put a lot of effort in the little details to make sure we feel like home. Everything about the house is perfect for our family.

It’s very clean and feels secured with the multiple locks. We were pleasantly surprised with what was provided in the fridge and kitchen for snacking and mini celebration. Pity we were driving, so never take the champagne. A very quiet neighbourhood. First time checking in and out using such remotely high tech, human-less.

Fantastic location just above Gora station. Very spacious apartment, spread over three floors. Traditional style, with tatami mats in all the living spaces and traditional low dining area, with an additional table and chairs in the kitchen. Well appointed, modern kitchen with everything we needed. Clean, modern bathroom (powerful shower), with separate toilets.
Washing machine and TVs.
Comfy futons for sleeping on.
Thoroughly recommend and we would return without hesitation.

Its location was excellent, very close to the train station.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.

Good wifi, comfy PJs, a lot of towels.
The place was ok, I was disappointed to find out we do not have a room with lake view (I didn't actually think there were different rooms).
Other than the place had everything we needed, it is in a quiet location, be aware that there are almost no cafes or restaurants open after 5pm.
Also, the weather was surprisingly cold when we came to Hakone and it took a long while to properly heat up the apartment, the floor can get pretty cold, too.
The property was right in the heart of Hakone. Waking up in the morning and seeing Lake Aishi was amazing! The apartment was clean and comfortable to stay in.
The location, the cleanliness, everything about it! These apartments will soon be constantly booked out because once word gets out how good they are, it will be hard to get a booking. Well done LakeSide Inn. Fantastic accommodation! Thank you 😊
