The old resident house was built in the early 1900s and has been very well maintained. Our hosts were so lovely and very generous! They welcomed us with small gifts and a map to show us the best sites to see.
Location is very easily accessible by train.

two tatami rooms are very nice, 10/15 minutes walk to Matsuyama city, good communication with host
friendly neighbours
at first we were disappointed cause the bathroom is just a plastic add on on the balcony and the house from otside is not so nice
also very close to train tracks, was okay cause trains do not run during the night but was a surprise
However we felt okay after all. Ita a good expierince for real life japan. Common flat for common people.

For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Everything about Entei was incredible; location to Dogo Onsen, the shopping district, of course the facilities, and our host - who went out of her way to run us through everything inside the apartment, along with local restaurant recommendations really made us feel at home. Will without doubt stay again next time we’re in Matsuyama.
Loved everything!
Beds were comfortable
Absolutely fantastic location right off Dogo main pedestrian street but still really quiet
Exceptional value for money.
Staff was so helpful showing us all around the apartment so we didn't miss anything and left a little bag of goodies and some Mikan juice for us.
Yukatas in the apartment were a hit with my 3 year old, they even included little ones for her
Inside was so lovely and clean and nice ambience
The location is incredible! It's literally right next to the famous Dogo bathhouse. They also provide free yukata rentals to wear to commute to the bathhouses. Considering this, its a great deal under 10,000 yen.
Great location. Free bicycle rentals before and after checkout. Friendly and hard working staff. Also, it's basically a one minute walk from the entrance of Matsuyama station.
Awesome Host Shimpei thanks for the kakigōri haha. Clean and nice place for a short stay. Really near to Dogo Onsen so you can visit it as much as you want to.
The location was very good, everything was a short walk to see or a quick ride on the tram.
The owner was lovely, letting us keep our bags with him and hang out until late following our check out as we had a night bus.
I liked the closeness to the Matsuyama station, not realizing it was the hub for buses and trams as well which we utilized using the Day pass from Iyotetsu (via Jorudan transit app). Reception/staff was friendly and attentive. There was bicycle rental available for anyone. The cafeteria food was similar to our experience in Kure location, however, there was take out option to your room.
