We came to see friends who live only 4km away and to ride in the L’Etape Parma Granfondo cycling event.
Since the address isn’t exactly where it shows on GPS (just a little farther and down an unmarked road), Dario thoughtfully texted us the exact location to map so we had no problem at all finding it. The parking right in front was great and we kept our bikes out on the porch with no worries. The coded door was great, as we didn’t need a key.
The weather was much colder than we thought it would be and the apartment was warm and cozy when we arrived. It was very clean and extremely well equipped, much more so than nearly anywhere else we have stayed. The kitchen was unbelievably nice, and all the food was very unexpected (although now I see that the reviews mentioned it often). The juicer was fabulous and I want to buy one now!
The bed was wonderfully comfortable and there were many thoughtful things like a large area in the bedroom to put everything, lots of drawer and closet space, and the ability to darken the room with the outdoor shades. We were very happy to be able to wash our clothes too! All in all, a very fabulous stay and I would recommend it to anyone who wants some quiet time away from the noise and bustle of the city, but close enough to do whatever you would like in a very short drive.

We were amazed at the apartment/home of B&B Palazzo Bianchi! It is a gracious and lovely home, decorated, curated and cared for with love. Our hosts were so gracious and welcoming. Every convenience one would need was provided, included generous supplies for a full breakfast.
We loved spending time on the large private terrace.
The location is great and very quiet. About a 15 minute, easy walk from the train station and nearby all the main sights and just a few steps from the Cattedrale di Parma. Many many choices of restaurants, shopping and grocery stores to choose from.
We would definitely return here the next time we are visiting the area.

Our host was exceptional. He had wonderful suggestions for places to eat, what to eat and what to do in the area. He responded quickly to messages. The apartment has everything you need for a week-long stay and at-home cooking. There was plenty of coffee and snacks and a pleasant surprise from our host! The location of the apartment was a bit of a hike from the train station but in the heart of where you want to be in Parma to enjoy the best parts of the city. The only issue we had with the apartment was the shelving above the head of the bed. If you want to sit up and read in bed, it is in the way. Other than that, a fan would be nice for circulation on those warmer nights before May 1 when a/c can be legally used (a law we found out about after our arrival in Italy). All in all, a very enjoyable stay. Thank you, Fabio!

The welcome by the hostess was warm and the apartment was big.
We appreciated the recently renovated bathroom and kitchen, as well as the fact that the flat is facing the inner courtyard, a huge bonus considering that the street in front receives some traffic.
The big asset of this flat is also its location, a 8-minute walk from the train station and the old Parma.

An apartment/big studio in a very convenient location in the limits of Parma and the nicer part of town. Very clean and comfortable with restaurants, gelaterias, supermarkets and very close to Tardini stadium. Overall, quite ok for a solo trip but I could see how it could not be convenient for everyone (see below)
