Excellent spacious secure apartment for our family of 5 adults.
Two bathrooms were great.
Hotel next door was handy with a great bar.
Bus stop 12 very close by for tour pick ups.
Communication with owners was exemplary and they gave many tour recommendations.

Loved the location, super central but not noisy. Beautiful decorated. Cosy warm and welcoming. Comfy squishy beds. The house itself is so pretty and typically Icelandic. Adorable. We even saw the northern lights right outside!

Really good location, apartments were a good size and comfortable. They were clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed to cook and the added touches of clothes washing liquid, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets were much appreciated. We also stayed in the lead up to Christmas and appreciated the lovely fairy lights and Christmas ornaments left out in the apartment which made the apartment feel more like a home from home. We also stayed with two toddlers and asked for cots and high chairs. This request was met perfectly and the cots and high chairs were excellent quality and perfect for our needs. It wasn’t clear to me from the listing on Booking.com but our two bed apartment 101 was on the ground floor which was perfect for us as we needed easy access with our children with no steps. The second apartment we rented for our friend was 201 which was a one bed apartment on the first floor. This was also a great apartment.

Big, modern apartment, comfortable and beautiful. Decorated with taste. All appliances in good condition. Location may pose a problem only for those without a car who want to see the Reykjavik downtown (it's 10-15 min. drive). And for visiting other interesting parts of the capital area, say Hafnarfjörður, it's actually much closer.
