We loved the idealism and the caring ethos of Jambavan with its emphasis on the environment, art and welcoming guests. The room and shared facilities were all spotless, cool and comfortable. There is a large roof terrace where you're surrounded by the tree canopy and a balcony off the living room which is shady and breezy. The hosts Avneeth and Anvena are incredibly kind and friendly and speak perfect English. We enjoyed making friends with their family of cats 🐈⬛ It was fun having art materials in our room to encourage some sketching.

Location was perfect and relaxing as mentioned. It was a calm place and better place for a enjoyable vacation. My family was so excited and satisfied with their service. Place was so clean and gives excellent comfort and aslo room looks so nice and pretty.
There is a place in the backyard where we can rest, I think it was newly built and garden was so beautiful and elegantly designed. Beach was also close, just few minutes to walk.
The person( host) was such a nice person and provides us everything we needed.

Everything was brilliant. The staff were amazing (especially Karthi!), the rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the location was ideal. Karthi was kind enough to arrange everything we needed, he couldn’t do enough for us (and thanks for letting us have an extra Indian breakfast each morning!). The best place we have stayed so far in Kerala.
Rooms were spacious, clean and quite. Hosts (Damini and Anmol) were very polite and helpful to us. They can arrange rental scooter also if you ask them!! And will guide you the best places to explore in varkala.They made us feel comfortable! And arranged all the necessary things. Rooms were very close the beach,so it easy to access!best room for budget!! And good hearted service!
A beach facing property in a very peaceful location. Would like to thank the manager, Dinesh for helping us with all the required arrangements ranging from rental bikes to drop in Railway station..Special mention to the caretaker Juhad who took care n guided us throughout..Giving 9 points cuz there is no tv in the property, other than that it was a 10/10 comfortable stay @Sherly Cottages
This was exceptional experience. Apartment was in beautiful, picturesque, peaceful area. Just few steps from beach, about 20 minute walk to boulevard with many restaurants. Amazing view from balcony and silence at night. Apartment itself was really clean and nicely designed. There was many storage places for clothes, also AC, fan and very big bathroom.
Host was extremely helpful, kind and communicative.

Very spacious apartment with comfortable bed, nice kitchen with fridge and stove and lovely balcony. The location is great next to the Helipad from where you have easy access to the beach, cliffs and lots of restaurants and shops. Location was very quiet with a lot of plants and trees surrounding it and many birds and butterflies. Suji was very kind and helped us very well with all our enquiries.
We loved our short stay at Maadathil - it was in the perfect location, close enough to the action to walk, but far enough away that it was calm and relaxing, and right on the seafront.
The room was large and comfortable and the grounds were immaculate and well cared for. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again on a future trip to Varkala or to recommend to friends. Thank you for everything!
