It was a good location. The kitchen was well appointed and there were a few essentials. Rooms were of a good size. Very clean.

Self check-in process was very easy and convenient as we weren't completely sure what time we would arrive.
Davie the dog was lovely, he would happily run around playing fetch all day, kept us all entertained.
Milk and orange juice were left in the fridge for us, and a jar of sweets on the counter which our daughter was delighted about.

It’s in a stunning location, we are countryside people at heart and this feels so peaceful and relaxing.
Valerie was a wonderful host, sending directions the day before, leaving delicious local goods that we have for breakfast each morning, and it’s so lovely to have someone to greet you on arrival and show you around. There was also a helpful guide to how things works as well as restaurant recommendations - we had dinner at Inside Out which was delicious and very friendly service. We felt really treated and loved every moment.
The bed is out-of-this-world comfy! I don’t know what mattress that is but I need one! And lots of blankets for the colder months. Having said that, it was lovely and toasty with the underfloor heating that we could control to our liking.
There was a selection of games and leaflets with suggestions of activities in the local area. We visited Knowth and Dowth nearby which were fantastic. We also made good use of the Scrabble set with takeaway pizza from nearby Slane.
All in all, we had the most wonderful weekend away, and will almost certainly be back! Thank you, Valerie.

I liked that it was so close to the beach and a short drive from funtasia waterpark. The owners were very nice and quick to reply. The apartment is absolutely spotless. We stayed in the top apartment and it was very spacious.
Spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen/living room. Clean and well equipped. We spent here only one night but it would have been suitable for a longer stay for our family as well. The beach is only 5 minutes walk, and there are nice pubs a few steps away.
Little flat in perfect location to shops, beach, pubs and restaurants. The place was warm and had all we needed for the night. Would be perfect for a longer stay also.
Flat was very spacious loads of room. Was very quick and easy to heat up. Not far from local shop and beach. Host was quick to respond when we couldn't get heating to work.

Will definitely be booking again. Clougherhead is a beautiful village with one of the cleanest sandy beachs on the east coast.
The apartment is ground floor with 2 bed rooms ideal for a small family. The rooms were clean and had a very good wifi. The village is beautiful and quiet so even the apartment is besides the road it was quiet. The host was friendly and gave us suggestions and tips. We will be back for sure.
