The hostess and host are super kind. We arrived late at night so everything in town was closed, but the madam offered us a free meal. They don't speak English but are patient enough to communicate through translation tools. They even helped us book a taxi for the next day and we got to meet the driver at 23:00 XD
The conditions are humble but totally acceptable for an old and remote village.

Beautiful guesthouse located along the Mestia Ushguli trail. Ruso was a very kind host who took really good care of us with very good food for dinner and breakfast.

Everything was perfect, we had a great time at this Apartment. Rooms are cozy, the breakfast is very good and you get more than anyone can eat. Luca and His family are very helpful and If you Like to Ride a horse they will arrange an amazing Trip for you! The people complaining in some of the reviews are people that will always find something to complain. For this price you get a Beer and a Toast in Europe and thats it.

The guesthouse is in an excellent location with the best views of the glacier from the adjacent cafe. The daughter speaks excellent English and was super helpful, arranging dinner for us, a taxi back to Mestia the next day, and letting us use the washing machine to wash our dirty hiking clothes. The rooms were quiet with plenty of ventilation and we had a lovely view over the old part of the town from our window.
