Our very considerate and accommodating hostess Janice thoughtfully prepared for us a lovely welcome pack. The freshly baked home bread was a nice touch. Attention to details make this property stand out among the rest. The fridge was well stocked with a full bottle of milk, two full bottles of orange juice. a tray full of coffee/tea/billie…and the jam!! We got the chance to chat with Janice and she is genuinely considerate of her guests. When we are back in the area we will surely book for more nights. Thanks again Janice!

The property was amazingly immaculate. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. Well equipped. Breathtaking views. Great and super helpful hosts. Just lovely! The photos don’t do it justice.

Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. This place is superb, it far exceeded my expectations. We both loved the property, the grounds and the location. It offers a great base to easily explore the whole of the Isle of Skye and at the same time it felt so homely it was easy to just want to stay at the apartment and relax. It provides all the amenities you could ask for. The apartment we stayed in was 1 bedroom, but felt like it could house a family of 4 easily! The hosts were both friendly. I almost don't want to say any more, just book the place and find out for yourselves!
The host is nice and friendly. The apartment is superb, great size, well equipped and functioning. There's a garden in front of the room to enjoy some greenery. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed a lot.
The apartment was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Great location and a great place to stay when visiting the island. It is very quiet and has lots of light. Karen is an amazing host! Thank you, Karen, for everything! We loved it! We hope to be back there someday.
The croft is a beautiful property and Tigh Dubh an extremely cosy retreat. The hand-picked furniture and decor, the little details, and the fireplace create a comforting atmosphere and make you feel right at home. Alistair's island tips were invaluable and helped us to replace some of the tourist hotspots with great alternatives. As a bonus, he even helped us pump up the tyre on our rental car, saving us a trip to the local petrol station.
Rarely I review with 10, but this place was worth it! Awesome room, stayed in Rum that was bigger than some flats. Stuff was lovely and helpful. We stayed as well for dinner which was absolutely delicious. Parking on side.
The apartment is bigger than the photos make it look, Lots of room to spread out and relaxing with a nice warm fire in the evenings. The kitchen has a selection of pans and utensils to knock up and easy meal. Its very warm an cosy, the bath was also a nice relaxing highlight. The raised bed stays nice and warm all night and its very comfy. The hosts are well organised and give good tips on local places to eat and shop.
Beautiful apartment: wonderfully appointed and having everything you could need to be comfortable. A real home from home! The hosts are very welcoming and seem to have thought of everything. The beds are extremely comfortable.
The location is great too, near enough to Portree and the sights of Skye. These is a great inn very close so you don’t have to drive to it, and a gourmet restaurant as well.
