Lovely place, attached to the home, yet completely private. The welcoming dram was unexpected and very much appreciated, as well as the small “tide you over” breakfast. Very comfortable and homey.

Great place. Super clean brand new. Use the supermarket parking as suggested. 2 min walk. Make sure you have a UK cell phone number to get the parking. We are from US but we're able to use the phone number of the apartment manager.

We never got to meet Ronnie but her apartment was amazing! Very roomy and the best coffee on our trip! Quiet location and more amenities than we could take advantage of in our short stay.
Excellent communication with the host as well as the directions to get to the property and collect the keys. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable and has everything you want for a self catered stay. Located close to the beach and within easy driving distance to Oban where you can take the ferries out to the islands. Would recommend for a stay in the Oban area.
The one bedroom apartment with en-suite bathroom had a large open-plan living room and kitchen which was fully equipped with everything you needed. A home away from home. A wonderful welcome basket of goodies to get you started. The owner very friendly and on hand if you need anything. Set in a tranquil garden setting in very quiet location. Would recommend this lovely home.
It was self catering. The beds and the settee were so comfortable. The hosts left us with milk, orange juice, bagels, butter. jam, and marmalade and coffee pods, and toilet rolls which was very welcome. We liked the mirror in the bedroom, I knew I had lost a couple of pounds but when I looked in the mirror I was 6 inches taller and seemed to have lost 1 stone , The sky was clear on a few nights and with no lighting in the area the stars were amazing. Thank you
Lovely apartment, very calm and clean. Ronnie prepared a nice food pack, including porridge, juice and milk - and even croissants.
It was like a little holiday for me.
It was the 2nd time this year we have stayed at Hawthorne, we returned as we loved it first time round, location is perfect & a great base to explore the west highlands. It’s peaceful, the view from the accommodation is stunning. Facilities for self catering are really good. The Owners are really helpful & lovely people. We love it & will return next summer.
