Perfect- we couldn't have asked for anything more. Exceptionally clean and very cosy. Fantastic power shower and very fast WiFi. Very comfortable bed, and with blackout blinds and the property situated in a quiet location, it would be silly not to enjoy a lie-in! Oban is a lovely wee town, and this place is only a 3 min walk from the centre.

Beautiful and modern, very clean and bed is very comfortable! Great location very central, heats up nicely and a book full of information of how to use appliances which was ideal. Would definitely stay here again lovely flat.

The apartment was lovely, all mod cons decorated very high standard, central to everything, mind you need a wee stool to reach plates in the cupboard, me being short.

There was an issue when we first arrived and it was sorted within 10 mins. Flat went to had not been cleaned but given another.
Modern decor in good condition throughout.comfy beds and clean.
Close to centre.
Lots of thoughtful touches like tea/coffee supplies and instruction book on how to use all the gadgets like coffee maker etc.

Excellent. Property is great and spotless. Location was awesome and close to everything. Also, a complaint I see on other reviews a bit is WiFi, and I can assure you WiFi was great in the property.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
We never got to meet Ronnie but her apartment was amazing! Very roomy and the best coffee on our trip! Quiet location and more amenities than we could take advantage of in our short stay.
Excellent communication with the host as well as the directions to get to the property and collect the keys. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable and has everything you want for a self catered stay. Located close to the beach and within easy driving distance to Oban where you can take the ferries out to the islands. Would recommend for a stay in the Oban area.
The one bedroom apartment with en-suite bathroom had a large open-plan living room and kitchen which was fully equipped with everything you needed. A home away from home. A wonderful welcome basket of goodies to get you started. The owner very friendly and on hand if you need anything. Set in a tranquil garden setting in very quiet location. Would recommend this lovely home.
It was self catering. The beds and the settee were so comfortable. The hosts left us with milk, orange juice, bagels, butter. jam, and marmalade and coffee pods, and toilet rolls which was very welcome. We liked the mirror in the bedroom, I knew I had lost a couple of pounds but when I looked in the mirror I was 6 inches taller and seemed to have lost 1 stone , The sky was clear on a few nights and with no lighting in the area the stars were amazing. Lovely apartment, very calm and clean. Ronnie prepared a nice food pack, including porridge, juice and milk - and even croissants.
It was like a little holiday for me.
It was the 2nd time this year we have stayed at Hawthorne, we returned as we loved it first time round, location is perfect & a great base to explore the west highlands. It’s peaceful, the view from the accommodation is stunning. Facilities for self catering are really good. The Owners are really helpful & lovely people. We love it & will return next summer.
