Nice location with interesting front yard full of swings and places to hang the hammocks provided in the rooms. It was hot and humid, so we were thankful to have a good AC in the room. Clean room, responsive staff.

The location in the middle of town was perfect. The apartment on the ground floor was roomy and comfortable, and we appreciated the air conditioning to take the edge off of the humidity and help dry our clothes. The Buddha café across the street had a complementary drink and we ate two meals there because it was such a great view and excellent menu. Also, the staff who met us at the Pavone pier and also met us at Tortugero boat taxi dock were excellent at directing us and getting us to the right places. They also recommended a tour company for kayaking and hikes that we used and we were very happy with their services as well.

this location is perfect. the apartment is amazing. I originally booked for one week and ended up staying 2 more! if you enjoy living in nature with wildlife around you while also being very comfortable. when I go back to Tortuguero, this is the only place I will stay. private with a view and sound of the ocean, while iguanas and tucans are on display !!

The apartment was amazing and the budda cafe next to it had a really beautiful view of the lagoon (especially during sunset). You even got a welcome-drink to choose from many cocktails etc to enjoy for free at the cafe.
The apartment is clean, has air conditioner, kitchen and possibility to wash clothes. The host Carlos is very friendly and super helpful. Check in was possible at 7 am. Carlos also organized several tours
A very comfortable stay in the centre of Tortuguero. Although located on the main street it was very peaceful. The room was lovely and spacious and the little touches like a fridge and drinks equipment was very welcome. Comfortable beds. The apartment was also a good size and we enjoyed the covered outside seating areas which we could still enjoy when it was raining. The Budda cafe opposite was very good too. All in all we had a great stay thank you and we would definitely recommend and stay here again.
The host was very friendly and helpful, showing us where the local shop and drinking water supply was. Anything extra we needed for the kitchen he provided. Cleaned the apartment and bedding during our stay. He offered many other things and was very helpful all round. The property is in the heart of the local community and very close to the national park entrance, as well as an easy stroll into town or to the beach.

It’s a beautifully presented apartment and was spotlessly clean. The location is fantastic- in the centre of the Main Street. We used Budda Cafe - directly opposite and waterside. The quality of everything we had from there was excellent.
