Maria, the owner, is the sweetest person ever. She took such great care of me. It was no problem to check in early, even though she had a really busy day. She made everything work for me. The apartment is very big and the price is incredible. She told me, she would want to find something similar in other countries if she travels, so she wants to offer something nice for low budget travelers here as well. So sweet. Shower is great. Kitchen is big and nice. You have so much space

We did not expect much from this accommodation but it was a pleasant surprice. The room was basic but ok for a short stay and it was clean. The pool was nice, breakfast was ok (the staff was very kind and making sure our kids were happy). And we saw quite a lot of nice frogs at the property.

We loved the fact that the stay included access to the rainforest park which we walked multiple times. The location is remote with not much near that you can walk to but we had a rental car so it worked for us. We prefer to stay in areas that aren't too touristy or busy and this place is perfect for that.

Seeing true Costa Rican life. Friendly, safe neighbourhood. Morning walks to see people, gardens, flowers, monkeys. White water raft trip was spectacular. Right out front of home. Loved sleeping in loft and coffee overlooking cow, rooster and hens. Perfecto!! Beautifully constructed building. Many special touches for comfort.

The rooms are spacious, clean, good beds, there's a safe, WiFi works, good breakfast. Excellent service at the reception. We took the most of our short stay, walked the trails, took the guided night walk and some of us took the chocolate tour in the morning. Knowledgeable guides, wonderful forest, saw amphibians, birds, iguanas, sloths. A place to come back to.

The trails around the apartments. Atmosphere and ambience, very relaxing. Lots of beautiful birds, hummingbirds feeding a few feet from our terrace. Lovely food, lovely friendly hostess. Off the beaten track, but Interbus will take you there on the Caribbean to Fortuna route if you are not hiring a car. Well worth the effort.

This property is on the edge of a fantastic rainforest reserve with self guided walks included in the price (public have to pay, so you make a saving) and separate well hosted guided tours. From the moment you wake up, you know you’ll be surrounded by wildlife. Breakfast and restaurant/bar area very pleasant and staff all very accommodating. Rooms quite basic but clean and all you need for a short stay.
