We had a lovely time staying here. The place is clean and beautifully decorated. The owner served us a simple breakfast of fresh bread and cheese and juice which we ate in the garden. The house is an easy 15-20 minute drive from the center of Bern or Thun.

The location amazing, take a two minute walk and you are in the city center! The apartment was very clean, it had all the utilities and the bed was very comfortable. There is also an Apple TV in the living room.
Despite the location of the apartment was a little above street level, it was very quiet.
Host was kind and responsive.

I think this is a wonderful concept. I have never been a hostel person (*sigh* I wish), but this is basically a lux step up for anyone who likes the concept but the rooms have a more apartment feel, and you don't share, of course.
