After a busy day, guests can relax on their private balcony in the hammock. Spacious room, with large balcony and a fridge. Hotel was simple, but perfect. Great accommodating staff, special props for Manuel and the cleaning crew who left an artwork of towels on our bed after every cleaning. Nice pool surrounded by trees. The location was great, around the corner of the beach, good restaurants in walking distance, very central location for ferry, bus stations etc. And price wise, incredible. Looking at the price and the rating on Booking.com we thought “how is this possible?”, but we got great value for what we paid. We recommend Riviera Maya Suites for anyone who wants a good deal, good service and top location, combined with the freedom to roam Playa del Carmen, but also Quintana Roo and Yucatan. And not be bound to the horror of overpriced all inclusive resorts.

The property is beautiful overall and the staff was wonderful! The pool area includes a shower and bathroom so you can hang out without having to go back to your room if you're on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The room is well designed and decorated with a comfortable bed and hammock on the patio but surprisingly my favorite amenity was the water machine in the hallway so you can constantly refill your water jug or water bottles. Would definitely stay here again!
