We traveled around in late December and this place was our favourite out of all our stays in Japan over a three week vacation! The host was so helpful and had so many tips, she also filled the fridge with all the things we needed. She showed us a lot of things we should check out and good restaurants as well. It was definitely worth the stay.

The house itself is extremely pretty and SUPER clean. I got more than enough tools for a 4-nights stay, even the small bit of trash was emptied, although (I believe) I was alone for a few days. The house is more than big enough to accommodate whole groups of travellers, in which case I more than recommend this house. It can definitely feel a bit lonely sometimes, as no one else is there, but if you're out doing things, that wouldn't matter too much. Furthermore, the owner was extremely responsive to messages on Booking, which was super helpful. Other than hat: Clean room, comfy bed, working AC, hot water, kitchen with everything you'd need.
