A beautiful garden, very nice Pool with salt water, which is very soft, no problems for the eyes when you swim with your eyes open underwater. Very nice family! You get the real Italian feeling here. Il dolce far niente! We will definitely come back here again.

Located 600 metres from Lake Trasimeno, Antico Casale Tiravento offers a 1-hectare garden with BBQ facilities and sun loungers as well as free Wi-Fi. the property is a traditional villa with all modern conveniences: full kitchen, bathroom with quality towels, TV with several apps (Netflix); king bed, living room; and outdoor patio. I chose the property also for location; it is on a lake, and 1/2 way between Tuscany (Siena) and Umbria (Assisi). the owner is a lovely lady (Antonella) who has mastered the details of hospitality (dishwasher, washer and dryer, lawn furniture, and a wonderful Italian breakfast with eggs, coffees, tea, milk, juices, cereal, danish rolls, Italian bread with butter and fresh preserves, cheese, fruits, and more of all the above. it is delicious and fresh. the property is spotlessly clean, and the view of the sunsets is magical. it is close to town and restaurants and shopping. HIGHLY recommend this property is you are looking for quiet, peaceful, and lovely location.

Le More E I Gelsomini is only 10 minutes’ drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It boasts rustic-style apartments, a garden with BBQ facilities and a free outdoor pool. This place is a hidden gem. We had a gorgeous room with a fully equipped kitchen, overlooking the gardens and pool area. The facilities are fantastic for couples, families and large groups. I would highly recommend.

Set in a quiet area surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, Il Porto is less than 2 km from Lake Trasimeno’s shores. It offers apartments with a lake-view balcony, and a shared garden with BBQ. Excellent accommodation with great facilities. Very clean and tidy. Andrea was a great host. Would highly recommend.

Marco and Virgilio went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. They helped us get to and from the train station, as well as giving a detailed explanation on how to get to the famous nearby waterfall, which was an amazing experience.
