I spent nearly a week with Sumer and his family and it was such an incredible experience. Nowhere else have I been in India that has so truly embodied the sentiment of “mi casa es su casa…“ the amount of generosity and warmth from not only the family but also from everyone else in the village was so special. It was sometimes hard to go for a walk as I was always getting invited in for a chai, food, or game with kids! The homestay provides such a beautiful space to reconnect with your surroundings, and I left with a sense of immense gratitude and peace from the time spent there (as well as a couple extra kilos from the incredible cooking). The rooms are beautiful and you can sleep under the stars at night if you choose. It’s a great place to experience a traditional Rajasthani village lifestyle and easily accessible from Jodhpur. The Gems Suites hotel is a very nice & super clean located in a calm street! We received a spacious and beautiful room with A/C, balcony, fridge, kettle and even an electric cooking plate. The staff was always present and ready to help in anything hotel offered us a pick up from train station that was extremely convenient taking into consideration determination tuc tuc drivers there! I am eternally grateful to Salim and Yunus (transport company members) who helped me when I lost my back pack in the train, took me to the police station and then even drove in the middle of the night to Ajmer to pick it up. Thank you so much! Salim is a boss of trusted travel company in Jaipur which works with the hotel, organizes tours in the region and beyond. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely come back! A big thanks to all and take care! 😊🤗

House of Backpackers se encuentra en Jaipur, a 2,4 km de Palacio de Jaipur y a pocos pasos del centro, y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado, wifi gratis y salón de uso común. El cuarto es más lindo en persona :) Muy cómodo, y limpio. El muchacho de recepción es muy amable y te va a ayudar...(pero no estar siempre, y el resto del personal no habla ingles y no te ayuda). El lobby es divino, y si viajas sol@ muy bueno para conocer gente. Tiene lava ropas ( no seca ropas)en verano se me seco en unas horas.

The staff and the rooms are so cozy. I stayed with my husband. We opted for breakfast and other meals once we were here and the food was really amazing. We hired a car for the entire day and the manager helped us a lot with sightseeing places. The room has a superb view. We did enjoy our chai and sandwich in the evening.

No basic coffee mugs, microwave, kettle, toaster are there which is mentioned in kitchen amenities. - wifi not working, called host for same and she was mentioning that line issue is there. TV is also not working, no batteries inside tv & ac remote. Water leakage from Ac in room.
