We had a wonderful stay here! The studio is very comfortable, equipped with everything you need. The bed is comfortable, the terrace is large, surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees, and the views of Chora and the castle are impressive! The beach is only a 5 minute walk from the studio. However, what made our vacation unforgettable is the attitude of the owner Ioannis, he made us feel at home all the time, gave us many recommendations, met us at the port late at night and took our luggage to the port when we left. Castellano Village features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Analipsi, 600 metres from Maltezana Beach. The 3-star aparthotel has city views and is 600 metres from Plakes Beach. This was our first time in Astypalaia and staying at Castellano Village made it an unforgettable experience. The hotel is located at a very lovely spot in the middle of the island with an amazing view of the sea. What makes it more special is the exceptional service of the owners, Nicolas and Christina. They make sure you get all the information you need to enjoy the surrounding area and the island. The hotel has a nice pool and a small taverna with great service. The room was clean and with nice details and you can enjoy watching the sunset from the balcony. Amazing beaches are accessible by foot, including Blue Harbour (Μπλε Λιμανάκι) and Plakes (Πλακες). We definitely recommend staying here if you visit Astypalaia!

Located within 400 metres of Maltezana Beach and less than 1 km of Plakes Beach, Hotel Castillio provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Analipsi. I loved the location. The room was perfect. Small but roomy. Compact but very comfortable. Value for money. Close to the beach. Close to a restaurant. Right across from the Asty Shuttle Bus so transport to any part of the island was super easy! The breakfast terrace was a beautiful spot for relaxing and watching the cats play and slumber. I just LOVED this spot. So peaceful. So friendly. Hospitality so warm and welcoming!

Set within 200 metres of Pera Gialos Beach and 1.4 km of Livadi Beach, Saluti Da Stampalia Chora provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pera Gyalos. Fantastic host (Virginia) , view, cleanliness, responsiveness, hospitality, comfort, ease of temperature control.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Primrose Apartments is situated in Astypalaia Town. The studio is located half way between the port and the old town. We are very thankful to the owners as they coverd our taxi ride on arrival day. Infact from the port it is a steep road with several steps. On departure day it is an easy downhill walk to the port even with suitcases (max. 10min walk). The kitchen is very well equipped (including washing machine), toiletries are provided and there's even a first aid kit with disinfectant and patches (very useful!). The studio is new and its decorations are very accurate. The bed is on a separate mezzanine just above the kitchen (six steps) but very well designed so to create a very nice and cosy area detached from the rest of the studio. A safe is also provided. Breakfast is delivered daily and it includes bread, muffins (sweet and savoury), butter, honey/jam, juice. Maria was very accommodating with my breakfast needs and adjusted it according to my request. Thank you Maria! The old town is 10min uphill walking distance and you can find two grocery stores just before the windmills area. Restaurants and cafés very handy. We enjoyed our dinner at Salis (again we thank Maria for the suggestions) but you need to book as they don't have many tables. We also enjoyed the nice views over the city from our terrace with beautiful sunrises. Finally we appreciated the late check out possibility on departure day.

The location is ideal for visiting the Chora and also Livadia which has one of the best beaches with tavernas and cafes. In fact there are 2 excellent fish tavernas in this location. The rooms were pristine and Irene the owner is very welcoming and helpful on all matters concerning Astypalia. The service was exemplary and the rooms very clean. Everyday, fresh seasonal fruit was provided, together with water and other provisions. The kitchen pantry is properly stocked with provisions for breakfast . The suites face the sea and are in a tranquil setting….no disturbance from party revellers or late arrivals. It is perfect for a relaxing few days. The suites are recently built and furnished to a high standard .
