The host, Iannis is an amazing, wise, kind and calm person who takes care of every little detail. He is genuinely happy to have guests and invests all his time to make them feel comfortable. He taught us some history and even gave us an assignment to continue the learning (which we did). 4. Very good location, almost on the beach, in the best area of the island. Mister Iannis even picked us from the airport and dropped us when we left the island.

Castellano Village er heillandi og býður upp á útsýni yfir Maltezana-flóann, nýralaga sundlaug og töfrandi útsýni yfir Eyjahaf. Strendurnar Ble Limanaki og Plakes eru í göngufæri. Castellano Village is a magic place with a wonderful view over the bay. The owners are very kind and competent people who work with passion. We spent beautiful days in our apartment. Castillio er hefðbundið hótel sem er staðsett við sjávarsvæðið í Maltezana (Analipsi), 300 metrum frá ströndinni og aðeins 8 km frá bænum. I loved the location. The room was perfect. Small but roomy. Compact but very comfortable. Value for money. Close to the beach. Close to a restaurant. Right across from the Asty Shuttle Bus so transport to any part of the island was super easy! The breakfast terrace was a beautiful spot for relaxing and watching the cats play and slumber. I just LOVED this spot. So peaceful. So friendly. Hospitality so warm and welcoming!

The location is ideal for visiting the Chora and also Livadia which has one of the best beaches with tavernas and cafes. In fact there are 2 excellent fish tavernas in this location. The rooms were pristine and Irene the owner is very welcoming and helpful on all matters concerning Astypalia. The service was exemplary and the rooms very clean. Everyday, fresh seasonal fruit was provided, together with water and other provisions. The kitchen pantry is properly stocked with provisions for breakfast . The suites face the sea and are in a tranquil setting….no disturbance from party revellers or late arrivals. It is perfect for a relaxing few days. The suites are recently built and furnished to a high standard .

Gerani Studios er staðsett í aðeins 25 metra fjarlægð frá ströndinni í Livadia og býður upp á gistirými með eldhúskrók og loftkælingu. The room was clean, tidy, nicely-decorated and comfortable with all kitchen amenities. The hostess, Mrs. Froso, was very kind and hospitable. The room offered no breakfast but some fresh juice, milk, coffee and other products were available that was perfect for a light morning snack! Mrs Froso also facilitated our late departure from the room which allowed us to enjoy our last day in the island. The room was cleaned daily and we also got fresh towels. Not many studios in Greece offer all these services and hospitality! The room has a nice little patio but the inner yard of the property may get a bit noisy. Still though with the windows shut, the room is very quiet and cool. The room is in a village called Livadi very close to Chora and just right next to the beach! The restaurant next to the rooms is excellent too with delicious Greek and local food/products and very friendly staff.
