For the usual price of a hostel you get to share a super clean, spacious and comfortable apartment with all its facilities in perfect order and right in the centre of the city. Plus, you get this amazing city view from your balcony. However, what made my stay truly exceptional was the super kind and friendly stuff that was always there to assist with any issue, but also more than willing to engage in conversation and help me practice my Arabic. A special thanks to Ashraf, Mahmood, Heba, Hisham and Faraj- the amazing owner of the hostel- whose hospitality made it feel like home. Note: Mersa Matruh has a very warm climate so you can enjoy summer vacation and idyllic beaches even in October, while at the same time avoiding the crowds.

The whole vibe of the place was just what I needed and was looking for: a tranquil atmosphere and a harmonious, elegant but yet simple furnishing. The room had all what you need: kitchenette, fridge and even a washing machine which turned out to be very helpful. The pool was amazing.

This is a huge resort with about 2 million square meter land comprising more than 1000 apartments mostly owned by some owners, huge swimming pools located everywhere near apartments, magnificent golf courses, superb soccer fileds for all ages, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and a free Waterpark for residents and rentals. The reception staff led by Mr. Amro is of highest professionalism and great flexibility and cooperation. They helped me change my booking from 4 nights to two nights so I can stay in nearby Porto Marina resort to enjoy the beautiful beach there.
