Pelican Point Sanctuary is a unique wetland and grassland 87 acre property located 2 kilometres from St Helens, on the road to Bay of Fires, Tasmania. Of all the places we stayed in Tassie this was by far the best! We stayed in Blue Wren which had 180 degrees of view and most of this was floor to ceiling. If you like bird watching this is the great place to stay as it has a hide which looks into the estuary, if not sit back and enjoy the view as the bird life will come to you!!! Alternatively wander/cycle along the newly built walkway into town which is also worth a visit. The facilities were luxurious and had a real wow factor about them. When we're back that way I'll certainly be staying here again.

Located within 13 km of Port Arthur in Taranna, Masons Cottages features accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. Wonderful hosts. Extremely well-appointed and spacious cottage for 1-4 people. Very clean. Plenty of windows, light, fresh air during the night. Laundry room washer and dryer effective. Denise also made very useful suggestions of activities in the immediate area and in the rest of Tasmania. I hope to go back one day.

Offering self-contained accommodation with panoramic river and valley views, Armalong Winery Chalets is located in Grindelwald, 20 minutes' drive from Launceston. Nice location right in the heart of the quality winery and gin distillery which was nice fun to visit. Beautifully clean, immaculate attention to detail, lovely quality layout and spectacular view replete with pademelons and other wildlife. Enjoyed the stay thoughly, will certainly come again.

Old Bishop's Quarters offers 5 different and unique 1-2 bedroom apartments, within an acre of gardens, with water or mountain views. Rebecca goes above and beyond to make you feel home. We have had a great surprise with the accommodation. So comfortable and cozy. Temperature of the apartment always nice and ward (in freezing Tassie!), nice warm bathroom floors, comfy beds, impeccable clean white towels and lining. I would come back to Tasmania just so we can stay again here! 10/10!!

Set in Bridport and only 400 metres from Goftons Beach, Bridport Beach Cottages offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. We were in unit 17 at the front which had a great view over the beach. Clean and comfortable unit.
