We loved everything about Craggy Peaks! From the moment we arrived ( Deb & Craig made sure the cabin was warm and toasty and left a small light on as we checked in after hours ) till the time we checked out (sadly) we loved every minute spent there. The solitude and peace was exactly what we needed as we spend hours staring at the screen everyday. It’s a case of disconnect to connect. There was almost zero internet connectivity but that’s ok cos that’s exactly what we wanted. Bring a book! The cabin is lovely. It has a kitchen so well equipped it has everything you need to whip up meals. There’s complementary hot chocolate and marshmallows too(yummm!) Don’t even get me started on the shower. Best shower in my 10 day tour of Tassie! We highly recommend an experience at Craggy Peaks and wish to be back some day.

Pelican Point Sanctuary is a unique wetland and grassland 87 acre property located 2 kilometres from St Helens, on the road to Bay of Fires, Tasmania. Of all the places we stayed in Tassie this was by far the best! We stayed in Blue Wren which had 180 degrees of view and most of this was floor to ceiling. If you like bird watching this is the great place to stay as it has a hide which looks into the estuary, if not sit back and enjoy the view as the bird life will come to you!!! Alternatively wander/cycle along the newly built walkway into town which is also worth a visit. The facilities were luxurious and had a real wow factor about them. When we're back that way I'll certainly be staying here again.

Just a 5 minute walk away from the centre of town, Castaway Holiday Apartments is located in Strahan. WiFi access is available at this self-catering accommodation. The apartment is considerably large and comfortable.

The cabin I had was large, clean and exceptionally well stock with cooking utensils and a wide selection of snacks and wines. I could not have been more pleased with my accommodations.

Offering self-contained accommodation with panoramic river and valley views, Armalong Winery Chalets is located in Grindelwald, 20 minutes' drive from Launceston. Amazing view from the cabin. 2 min away from a wine seller door and a gin distillery. Very clean. Excellent bed. We came in winter, the room was warm and cozy

Old Bishop's Quarters offers 5 different and unique 1-2 bedroom apartments, within an acre of gardens, with water or mountain views. You need to add a start, Mauds Cottage was the best sleep, location, bath, luxury plus! I do not think there could be better accommodations in all of Tasmania. They host are lovely, the view, the peace and quiet. All perfect!
