The Quinta was very nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. There was a fireplace but we didn't use. Beautiful flowers around the grounds. The location is up in the mountains about 1/2 hour from Funchal. There was a Sunday market in town as well as some small markets and places to eat. A storm Monday night took out the electricity when we awoke in the morning. Very clean place and lots of room. We had a 1 bedroom unit. Was great to have a kitchen and fridge to make coffee in the morning.

No waiting times for the breakfast, seating was inside and outside. There was a good variety of food at the buffet. The evening buffet was also OK, but we liked the restaurants outside better. You will need to make a reservation for those. Despite the fact that the compound is massive (it's 3 hotels in one), the place did not feel crowded and there was plenty of room for everyone.

The location was amazing, it was so central making it very convenient as we did not rent a car. The apartment was extremely spacious and nice. The check-in was extremely easy and the staff was very helpful and easy to reach. Would highly recommend staying here!

This is the perfect apartment to use as a hiking base for the Valley of Nuns (Curral das Freiras) and surrounding mountains. Apartment is fairly basic but has everything needed and was so perfectly situated. We would definitely book this apartment again.

Ideal for travelers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Condo hotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but include kitchen facilities for a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). These suite-style accommodations usually have more than 10 units per property.
We had a very pleasant stay, everything you would need for self catering. Pleasant check in. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable ones we've ever slept in. Clean and warm. No TV,which was not a bother for us. On a Sunday there is a local market that we loved to visit and managed to get souvenirs for great prices. We enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Clean, spacious accommodation. Great location close to the airport and in a quiet area within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Machico. There is an incredible viewpoint to watch the sunrise that is within walking distance. Even though it is close to the airport, it is nice and quiet. Easy check-in, and hostess was very kind. Great value for money. Would stay here again, and I recommend the flat to anyone looking for a quiet, self-catering accommodation in Madeira.
