I was pleasantly surprised that it did look like the photos. It's a nice and simple room, it was clean. The pool was quite large and once again v clean and enjoyable. Don't expect luxury.
Across the street from the hotel you had a beach with a very fancy beach bar. You had to reserve well ahead if you wanted a nice place on the beach, but you could also just take your own towel to some other place.
I think it was a good place to just enjoy a beach and the pool for a few days. But do bear in mind that there's nothing really to do there as it is in a very small village.

Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
An apart hotel in the very centre of Byala, on the main square, around 15 min walk downhill to the nearest beach. We went there to celebrate NY last minute. The host was very kind and attentive. The apartments are spacious and well planned. We had South-facing ones with distant sea view. They have aircon, TV and wifi, and a fully equipped kitchen corner.
