I lived in Kirkland and used to fly in and out of SeaTac on business and family trips in the early 1980's. It was manageable then. I liked the artwork. The N Gates were not that hard to get to. The parking garage was a thrill with the spiral ramps. Now the whole place is a mess. There's construction everywhere. It takes forever to get through security.
Dont stay there if you are handicapped. Bring a toilet plunger so you are able to flush your toilet. I hope that helps as it still got worn out plungering the toilet and gave up and used the one in the lobby. You might also be offended by one of the male restaurant staff with his pants down below his butt. I thought his belt was missing but he dressed that way. The town is nice with lots of businesses and trails and accommodating spaces to eat a picnic. But I would avoid this hotel and stay at another one in the city. None could be a s bad as this one.
It is fine. The highway is a bit sketchy especially at night. Des Moines is aaaight. I am indiffeent about it. No I wish there was juicy details but you, ya you , know who has me on block. You should offer more services.
The area was beautiful as well as the surrounding towns. The airport is in remodeling phase and is a little hard to get around and a lot of walking. This was an issue because I have mobility problems.I’m Beautiful place to visit.
Tukwila is a great place to stay due to its location south of Seattle. If coming from the south, you exit before the long traffic jam entering Seattle and can time your trip to Seattle to avoid rush hour traffic. You can go south to Federal Way and Tacoma easily - or to our great Capital building in Olympia and unique downtown shops. It is also close to SeaTac airport. Staying the night in Tukwila is more peaceful than staying at a hotel on International Blvd in SeaTac and there is a great variety of restaurants.
The front desk girl, Alexa, was great! The room was disgusting and filthy. We had to change room’s because of the partying next to us. The room we moved to reeked of urine! The comforter had cigarette burns all over. The bathroom was filthy.
Capitol Hill, Seattle
Good location. 30min walk to downtown. Easy access to buses and train at Capitol Hill (10 min walk). This goes straight to SEA airport @ 30 min. Nice room, very quiet. Plenty of storage. Good Internet. Neighbourhood felt safe which is not the case for downtown,
