Had a problem getting from SeaTac to hotel. They said shuttle was not working so take an uber and get receipt. Couldn't get uber and paid $25.00 for taxi who refused to give receipt. Told desk clerk about this and he said he would try to get fare re-imbursed. Saw Amex bill when we got home and nothing happened; good news is that a day later hotel comped my taxi. Thank you for your attention to this.. Food choices limited but the casino next door had some reasonable food especially late in the evening when you are tired!

I am using this area and the next, to expose a problem with Booking.com and the hotels contact arrangements. Our UK mobiles were unable to connect with the internet at Tukwila Station, which was completely unstaffed around mid-day on the 5th Oct. The station has no taxi ranks and is in an area that few people frequent. We spent 45 minutes waiting for a kind member of the local public to assist by ringing a local taxi firm.

The location was comfortable, safe,and close to everything. The facility was truely disability friendly I was able to maneuver easily in a wheelchair. It was also kid and pet friendly.

The only plus factor about this hotel is the room which was clean, good sized and comfortable No drinking water was provided, which is very unusual for any hotel of this category. When asked at reception, I was told to get it from the beverage machine or fill up at the water dispenser in the Gym. Two things strike me as a lack of trust by the hotel management towards guests. I have never seen plates being handed out
at the breakfast room and having to show a coupon is also not often practiced. Why is breakfast starting so late at 7.00 a.m.? Is there is motive?

We didn't get to see much, since the hotel refused us decent service because of my business partners ADA Medical Alert Service Dog. So we actually moved on and stayed in another city for the night. What we did see was kinda sketchy and dirty, just like the fairbridge hotel

Came to Tukwila to take care of a personal matter. The area around the hotel seems a bit sketchy. Drove to the Safeway nearby: the drive was fine but Safeway parking lot was full of strange characters. Don't see the need to come back again.

Tukwila is a great place to stay due to its location south of Seattle. If coming from the south, you exit before the long traffic jam entering Seattle and can time your trip to Seattle to avoid rush hour traffic. You can go south to Federal Way and Tacoma easily - or to our great Capital building in Olympia and unique downtown shops. It is also close to SeaTac airport. Staying the night in Tukwila is more peaceful than staying at a hotel on International Blvd in SeaTac and there is a great variety of restaurants.

Dont stay there if you are handicapped. Bring a toilet plunger so you are able to flush your toilet. I hope that helps as it still got worn out plungering the toilet and gave up and used the one in the lobby. You might also be offended by one of the male restaurant staff with his pants down below his butt. I thought his belt was missing but he dressed that way. The town is nice with lots of businesses and trails and accommodating spaces to eat a picnic. But I would avoid this hotel and stay at another one in the city. None could be a s bad as this one.
