Hotels near Muskegon County Airport - MKG, Muskegon

My fiance and I stayed here for 3 nights. The owner was a very pleasant woman. It appeared as though she was the only one, single employee. When she had errands to run, she came to me at my room and asked if I could keep an eye on the front desk for her while she was gone. She briefly went over the current prices of each room with me, gave me the keys to a vacant room to conduct business out of, and then she taped a sign to the front office window that read "Cash Only" on it. I was ready to go! She left shortly there after. Thankfully, I did not have one single customer while she was gone. As soon as she walked back into the door 3 new customers showed up wanting to rent rooms and the phone began to ring off the hook! Perfect timing! The location is, alright. As, yes, it is very close to several local business.....it is located on an extremely busy road. Taking a nice leisurley walk across the street to pick up a gallon of Milk.......not an option! Unless you are prepared to play real life "Frogger" across 5 lanes of rush hour traffic! Overall.....it was a pleasant experience. It wouldn't be my first choice of rooms by any means...but then again, it also would not be my last either! Oh, i forgot to mention that it is also Very clean!!!

This Hampton Inn is very close to some great shopping. It is a very easy 15 minute drive from downtown Muskegon, it's really a great place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel if you're traveling to the greater Muskegon area. There was some roadwork in the area, which caused a few delays.

When i get there the Manager told me that the there was no pool, breakfast services which i understand., however the, room was smelly like mold so i then got another room and that smelled bad as well. i had to go to the store and purchase disinfectants for the carpet. the room had a leak that was causing the bathroom floor to be slippery, it was coming form under the tile. the picture on the website are so bright and colorful, nothing what i expected. this hotel had garbage everywhere. halls need painting, rugs needs replacement, this place should be shut down. never again.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom had mirrors with shelves underneath that went around three sides of the room. We had no phone so no wake up call and couldn't complain to the desk about noisy people in the room next to us. They yelled and screamed and banged on the walls for two and a half hours. I am sure not everyone would encounter these people so anyone else's stay should be wonderful. Desk clerk was very nice. Close to shopping and food as well as the hospital which was the reason for our stay.

The test that could’ve been a little friendlier. The cat no breakfast did not have much to offer was out of orange juice. But the man that was taking care of the kitchen dining area kept it very tidyAnd clean. The beds were very comfortable. We did not have enough towels in our room for the amount of people that we had in each room. My granddaughter got sick in the night and we had to go get a new sheet and the sheet was not clean that they give us. The lady at the desk was rude but when I asked for a clean sheet. There was a lot of people hanging just outside the doors I think they may have been people that were living there? But for the price and it accommodated our big group was in the area we needed it work for us. Was not in the best neighborhood there was a lot of commotion next-door at the party storeWhich was not the hotels fault.

The hotel was old, our room was not cleaned in 3 days. The pool was closed, we were unable to use it. We were advertised a King bed and it was a Queen. We talked to the GM after the second night and he promised us the room would be cleaned but he lied.
