Coast Inn at Lake Hood, is a short walk away to watch float planes take on and off from one of the busiest seaplane bases in the world. The room size was very large and very comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. Watching the planes land and take off was fun.

The gentleman at the front desk, I believe his name is Jesse, was extremely hospitable. I made a mix up on our days we needed and he was able to sort it for us. He also was more than accommodating when it came to our room. It may not have been a big deal to him but his kindness meant a lot. We appreciate him!

I loved that when my plane came in earlier than expected, the front desk associate didn't keep me waiting and placed me in an available room. The room was super big for just me BUT I remained thankful and just stayed in the space and kept it neat. First time I was on the 3rd floor and was excited to have access to an elevator.
